CARRINGTON STREET
A HERITAGE LOTTERY FUNDED PROJECT
PROJECT INTRODUCTION
Nottingham City Council won a sum of money from the Heritage Lottery Fund in order to renew and regenerate Carrington Street. I have been invited to design and create an 'Urban Room' exhibition located at 38 Carrington Street all about the architectural history of the area. The exhibition design needed to be flexible to allow the public to understand and interact with the project, yet also allowing temporary exhibitions to be put up within the space.

THE URBAN ROOM
The Urban Room on Carrington Street opened to the public on 09/03/2018 and is intended to be open for at least 5 years. Lectures, meetings, talks and a wide variety of events will take place here amongst temporary exhibitions all about the built environment of Nottingham.

The aim of the Urban Room is for people to learn about the area's architectural history, present and future. With this in mind, we will be collecting feedback from the people of Nottingham throughout the years to see if their perception of Carrington Street changes with the regeneration project that's going on.
